Springfield, Missouri, USA
DEA controlled drugs and cGMP center of excellence

Our Springfield, Missouri, USA site started up in 1989 and has gone from a manufacturing site of a major pharmaceutical company to making multiple APIs and cGMP intermediates for the world’s most innovative pharmaceutical companies. Prior to becoming one of our facilities, the Springfield site was operated by Roche and many of the personnel working at this site had their start working directly for the pharmaceutical industry.

Today, the Springfield site features six main manufacturing units, has pilot plant facilities and houses one of our Molecules Synthesis Centres. In 2005 Springfield began manufacturing controlled substances under approval by the US Drug Enforcement Agency.
